Join author Betsy Cornwell for a reading and discussion of her new memoir Ring of Salt. Betsy Cornwell was born in New Hampshire, and her favorite summer job was as a historical tour guide for the Isles of Shoals Steamship Company — an experience that inspired her first novel, Tides, a reworking of Celtic selkie folklore set on the Isles of Shoals. Betsy attended Oyster River Middle School and Berwick Academy before receiving a BA from Smith College and MFA from the University of Notre Dame.
